Menemen is a classic Turkish breakfast dish that is simple to prepare and incredibly delicious.




Ingredients

2 eggs

1 small onion

2 tomato

1 small bell pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper






Instructions

  1. Finely chop the tomatoes and onion, and slice the pepper.

  2. Add the olive oil to the pan and heat it up.

  3. Sauté the onion in for around 2-3 minutes until golden.

  4. Next, add the sliced peppers, tomatoes, salt, and pepper, and cook on low heat for about 5 minutes.

  5. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl.

  6. Add the eggs and cook on low heat for approximately 5 minutes.

Tip: Serve with chopped parsley
